【Events】 Disaster Preparedness Events in Osaka and Saga on 11/13 & 11/20

In addition to emergency relief and reconstruction efforts, Civic Force is also providing disaster preparedness events and workshops to promote self-reliance and mutual support. In November, Civic Force is participating in three events in Osaka and Saga.

11/13 (Higashi-Osaka) Disaster Preparedness Event featuring the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association (JPBPA)

  • Date: Sunday, November 13, 2022
  • Admission: Free
  • Venue: Aramoto Park
  • Background: In December 2021, Civic Force and the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association (JPBPA) launched crowdfunding project. In May and August, disaster preparedness events were held in Fukuoka and Oita for children. The event will feature hands-on exercise and participants can learn about disaster preparedness.
  • Eligibility: 100 little leaguers

11/13 Saga Disaster Preparedness Sports Event

Civic Force is participating in a family-friendly disaster preparedness sports event in Saga. Small children can participate and learn about disaster preparedness through sports.

  • Venue: Saga City Kono Elementary School

11/20 Sky Day Festa at Saga Airport

Sky Day Festa will be held on November 20 to introduce Saga Airport and the different jobs at the airport. Participants will be able to observe the behind the scenes around the airport. Civic Force will be hosting a disaster preparedness quiz and raffle event.
