Almost 10 years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake. Common Benefit Investment Fund JAPAN (formerly Tohoku Common Benefit Investment Fund) was launched in November 2011 with funds donated to Civic Force to assist economic recovery efforts in the affected communities. Civic Force since supported 13 projects in Tohoku and 3 in Kumamoto. Some of the projects were able to complete the repayments and Civic Force continues assisting the on-going projects.
