"We hope our products can be helpful to those working for the people affected by the pandemic." - Civic Force received 1,120 bottles of hand sanitizers from L'Occitane Japan, a French cosmetics company.

Civic Force has been distributing the hand sanitizers to five partner organizations since April 2, 2021. The partners support disaster-affected people, victims of domestic violence including women and children, aid workers, nurses, and people affected by the pandemic. L'Occitane Japan previously supported Civic Force during the Great East Japan Earthquake in assistance activities for entrepreneurs in the affected areas.

Hand sanitizers have become a must-have item in the past year and Civic Force received warm thank you messages from beneficiaries.

"We distributed the hand sanitizers during a get-together at a housing complex for people affected by natural disasters. One participant was very happy because she was looking for a pocket-sized sanitizer. We placed clear dividers on the table and met with the participants. Because we can see no end to the pandemic, it was a very nice gift to receive." - Aid worker
