On September 15, 2021, Civic Force donated 1,372 personal hygiene items to Saga Girls’ High School as part of a disaster preparedness initiative. The donated items were set up in 18 bathrooms at the school on September 27 and students can access those hygiene items for free. 

Civic Force’s Saga Office highlighted challenges related to women’s personal hygiene during a public forum at the local municipality in hopes of utilizing the stockpile of hygiene items for students. Local assembly member, Ms. Yuko Ichinose, who has previously advocated for stockpiling hygiene items in bathrooms at local public high schools, introduced Civic Force to Saga Girls’ High School in August 2021.
