【Kyushu Heavy Rain】 Gathering Information
Special heavy rain warnings have been issued for Fukuoka and Oita Prefectures. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Japan Meteorological Agency issued warning level 5 indicating that disasters have already occurred in major rivers in Oita, Fukuoka, and Saga prefectures. Warning level 4 was also issued indicating possible flooding (as of 9 am JST, July 10).
On the morning of July 10, an advance team from ARROWS departed for Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where the damage was said to be severe, to conduct a needs assessment.
