Online donation receipt date change

Civic Force began using a new online payment service. This change lowers the payment service fee, allowing us to maximize the money we receive from our donors. In addition to Visa and Mastercard, Civic Force now also accepts JCB, AMEX, and Diners cards starting December 20, 2022.

The date reflected on a donation receipt is now the date the donation was made (for credit card payments) and actual payment date (for convenience store and pay-easy payments) instead of the date the donation was received by Civic Force.

For 2022 tax returns, donations made (for credit cards) and paid (for convenience store and pay-easy payments) before 11:59 PM on December 31, 2022 will be eligible for tax deduction.
