3/12 (Sat) Civic Force to Host Disaster Risk Reduction Event in Saga

Civic Force is jointly hosting a community disaster risk reduction event with Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. Saga Branch on March 12, 2022. Centered on the 2019 and 2021 heavy rain disasters in Saga, the event will feature mock evacuation centers. Also, disaster preparedness items, vehicles with electric outlets, and portable toilets will be showcased and participants will also get to taste emergency foods. Scavenger hunts with raffle prizes will be available for children and parents. This event will be perfect for families to learn about disaster preparedness together.

Venue: Don Don Don no Mori (Saga, Saga Prefecture)

* COVID-19 prevention measures will be taken at the event. Participants will be asked to take their temperature, sanitize hands, and sign waivers. Visitors with a fever (37.5°C or over) will not be permitted to enter the premises. Local authorities may use available contact information for contact tracing. 

* Participants are encouraged to download an app, COCOA, for contact tracing. 

* The event will be postponed in case of rain. Event may be canceled due to COVID-19. Civic Force will notify participants through social media.
