On June 25, Civic Force signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support supplies and facility use in times of disaster with Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, and on the same day, Civic Force delivered supplies to Takeo City's storage warehouse (formerly Takeo Nursery School). 

In January 2021, Civic Force and Takeo City signed an agreement on Support and Cooperation in Times of Disaster and have been collaborating on provisions of supplies during disasters and disaster preparedness training during non-emergency times. This latest MoU was signed ahead of the flooding season. The agreement has been renewed in order to quickly collaborate and provide material support in the event of a disaster.

Food, water, sandbags, and other items had been stocked at Takeo City's warehouse. Civic Force brought in 16 new items including cardboard partitions, baby beds, diaper changing tables, and trolleys.

When selecting supplies, Civic Force drew on the experience in disaster relief to provide support that takes into account aspects that are often overlooked in emergencies, such as securing a private space and consideration for families with small children.

Mayor Komatsu remarked “In order to provide thoughtful support to disaster victims, collaboration with organizations with experience is essential. It is very reassuring to be able to collaborate with Civic Force and we would like to continue to strengthen our disaster preparedness.”

Civic Force Executive Director Kaori Neki said, “As we enter the rainy season and the tension is high, we realize the importance of stockpiling together with local governments.Takeo City has experienced two floods in recent years. Enriching the stockpiles in Takeo City will help us deliver aid as quickly as possible, which is our goal, and we are grateful for this collaboration."
