Civic Force Selected for Saga Prefecture’s Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax) for Businesses

Businesses can now donate to Civic Force through Furusato Nozei for Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Response

Since 2016, eligible businesses in Japan have supported local municipalities in regional revitalization activities through Furusato Nozei. If a business entity makes a donation using this system, 60% of the donation will be further deducted from their corporate tax in addition to the charity deduction (about 30% of the donation), and up to 90% of the donation may be deducted from the corporate tax.

Civic Force’s Kyushu Saga Disaster Prevention and Disaster Response Promotion Project through Public-Private Partnership was certified by Saga Prefecture for Furusato Nozei.

Project Title: Disaster Prevention and Disaster Response Promotion Project through Public-Private Partnership

Description: Establishing a disaster response hub with an emergency stockpile for relief items; operationalizing a matching system to connect affected populations with relief items
